This Villa is set in a delightful position among extensive pretty grounds which overlook the woods, while the swimming pool is surrounded by olive trees and lush gardens. The nearest town is Cortona, famous for its ancient backgrounds, home town of famous painter Luca Signorelli and more recently for the book "under the tuscan sun" by Frances Mayes. From this Villa you have the possibilty to go horse back riding to the beautiful Hermitage Le Celle, where San Francis lived for a period of time and personally wanted to build the hermitage. A semi-detached two storey house is located in a quiet, picturesque setting located at the foot of the hill that leads to Cortona. The old house is typically tuscan style with natural stone walls. Tiled patio with BBQ and garden furniture. Pretty fishpond and kidney shaped swimming pool with equipped garden area.

Ground floor: Comfortable lounge with TV, leading on to the kitchen/dining room with a large open fireplace and a long wooden dining table. Facilities include a fridge/freezer, oven with 4 ring gas hob and dishwasher. There is also a single bedroom on the ground floor, which has a fireplace and a writing bureau, plus a shower room. First floor: Two double bedrooms and one twin, tof which the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the other double can be accessed via exterior steps. Separate bathroom.

Casentino-Valdichiana Itinerary
VALDICHIANA AND CASENTINO, TUSCANY YET TO DISCOVER...
These Tuscan areas are geographically the counties located in the south-east of the region, and in some ways they are yet to be discovered. The northern area is called Casentino, and has in it the Casentino Forest Park. This territory is perfect for those seeking nature and green areas. The southern part is called the Chiana Valley (Valdichiana) and is a more flat land with an original and dynamic coexistence of modern and ancient villages.
